A:        Cloud Service is simply YOUR IP Device (Phone, PC, Printer, any IP Device on your home or office network) connected via an internet connection to The Cloud which is really a Server Farm in a secure location in which you use a small amount of space on one of those servers.  In the case of Phone Cloud Service, you’re IP Phone is connected to a Voice Server that takes the place of a phone system at your location.

A:        There are several advantages.  First is cost.  There is less or no upfront costs with Cloud Service.  Instead, you are charged a small reoccurring monthly fee and there’s no large investment in a Server that has a limited life span. Second is complete remote service.  No matter where you are, if you have an internet connection, you can connect your Server, PC or Phone System and have complete service no matter where you are.  This feature adds convenience and efficiency to anyone who may have to work somewhere other than the normal office.
